Within the first month of the covid pandemic, AMOS maxed out our free zoom account with a 100-person virtual action with Iowa Workforce Director (IWD) Townsend, securing commitments for IWD to hire 100 additional staff to handle claim volume and make changes to the website and phone system to make the unemployment system more accessible to non-English speakers.

Secured $5 million investment in job training programs statewide from the Governor’s office to help unemployed Iowans access new economic opportunities during the pandemic.
