Status as of 5/28/2010

Purpose: 1. To understand ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) operations in central Iowa and work to reduce the dehumanizing affect on immigrants.  2. To educate the community on the immigration system, issues, and myths in an effort to influence state and federal immigration legislation. 

Current Efforts: 

• A presentation is being created (currently in progress) that can be used to educate congregations and the community on immigration history in the U.S. and the current system and issues.
